This kitchen is born in the USA - it's a spirited representation of a melting pot of style, color, function and creativity that makes this country, and this Calypso kitchen, so special. Here, straightforward design yields new full-access cabinetry behind an oh so savvy SoHo doorstyle in a warm custom finish called Saffron. This kitchen marks the spot where all things mix and meld for a space full of cultural flavor and spirit. Conventional it's not. Exciting it is!
Glass-fronted tallers are shown in "Rhode Island Red" on a Wilshire doorstyle. Base cabinets in low-sheen black on Maple ensconce a bump out sink. A Dove White pier cabinet, topped in stainless for dramatic effect, has deep drawers that make it all functionally Glamboyant.
Different textures, finishes and colors all come together in a seamless design. "Fennel" on the armoire and one island brightens the wall cabinetry shown in two woods and two finishes ? Cherry in Cocoa (left wall) and Walnut in Fireside (right wall and island). The side-by-side island approach doubles the prep and serve space. The armoire offers visual and practical interest, with abundant storage capability.
It's back to basics, with a no-clutter kitchen. A Special Cloister door awash in White Frost on Beech sets the tone. Where simple and practical meets crisp and clean. If only life were always this put-together and easy on the eyes. It's Practically Basic.
His. Hers. Differences were never settled so smoothly as in this kitchen. A nearly seamless blend of rift-sawn oak in warm nutmeg, and satin stainless steel accents. Madison doors enclose a well-rounded, streamlined space that keeps only the essentials in view.
